Skype Counseling Consults

What is Skype?

Skype is a free software that allows you to have free calls, video conferencing and chat over the internet. If you have a computer and internet connection, you can start downloading the program and using it right away. Your computer will need to have a camera in place for voice and video calling.

Downloading Skype

Skype counseling is a great alternative to face-to-face counseling. I treat skype sessions the same way I do face-to-face sessions.

Skype Counseling Tips

The following tips may be useful to make your sessions more effective:

Create a private space for yourself free of distractions and other people’s presence as best you can during the session time.
If possible please use a head set with microphone so that you have your hands free (speaker phone might create an echo and may not work so well).
Have a paper and pencil ready, for eventual note taking.
If you have phones, please turn them off or set it in silent mode.

Billing for Online Counseling

Online counseling cannot be billed through insurance.

I accept payment with credit card.

Session lengths are available in 1/2 hour, 1 hour, and 1-1/2 hour durations. . If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me, if you want to do a skype session please fill out the confidential client form payment options to reserve a time.

Download the program by clicking on this word – SKYPE. It’s free and easy and they guide you step-by-step.
Make sure to read the nice tutorial on the Skype site HERE. It’s such an intuitive program you won’t need to read the tutorial, but I did simply because wanted to learn all I could do with the program.
If you would like to Skype with me, please click on the Confidential Client Form, fill out the information, and I will then send you my Skype name and appointment time options
